Our specialists perform vital diagnostic, therapeutic and blood collection services for all patients at our hospital, as well as at our specialty care locations and mobile health units in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Using state-of-the-art technologies and techniques, our team completes more than 1,000,000 tests annually to assist physicians in confirming a diagnosis or in monitoring the effectiveness of a child’s treatment.

Blood Donor Center

The center is located in room 2302 on the second floor of the main hospital.

Hours of Operation

Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.

  • Last platelet appointment is 2 p.m.
  • Last blood appointment is 3:30 p.m.

Every second and fourth Saturday: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.

  • Last platelet appointment is 1:30 p.m.
  • Last blood appointment is 2:30 p.m.
